Chapter I Released
A supernatural tale. The first film of the Holy Trilogy — and the one you can watch tonight.
Logline One sentence
When a kidnapped girl returns home claiming a dead cop rescued her, a detective must uncover whether a ghost is delivering justice — or whether there is something more sinister at work.
Synopsis The case
In the town of Augusta, young Grace Brown is rescued from a kidnapper's remote farm. She insists she was saved by a police officer named Jim — a man who died a year ago.
Detective Madison Wells begins unravelling a mystery that merges real-world horror with something she has no framework for. As another girl goes missing, the investigation intensifies, exposing a deeper conspiracy tied to past murders, buried secrets, and the possible return of a ghostly saviour — or killer.
Augusta is a small American town surrounded by vast countryside: urban decay, rural seclusion, and a chilling sense of isolation.
Characters Who you meet
The girl
ten years old
Comes home after being kidnapped and says a dead police officer saved her — and that she still sees him. Calm and kind, despite everything.
The detective
believes in facts, not ghosts
Smart and no-nonsense. Then a girl tells her a dead cop saved her, and Madi is pulled into a case that shakes everything she believes.
The officer
died a year ago
People say his ghost is back — protecting kids, maybe even stopping crimes. Nobody knows for sure whether he is a hero or something else.
The father
Grace's dad
He was falling apart while she was missing. Her return brings hope — and fear, especially when she says a ghost is watching over her.
The partner
Madi's longtime partner
Calm, level-headed, keeps things logical. He does not buy ghost stories — but he stands by Madi when things start getting strange.
The chief
Madi's boss
Strict and practical, with no time for the supernatural. He wants results, not ghost stories. Even he starts to sense something is not right.
Also: Mason, the quiet café owner who hung Jim's photo on the wall — harmless enough, but there is something strange about the way he watches and listens.
